When I became a mum for the first time, I found myself longing for connection — with other Italian mums and families who shared my culture, language, and values. My beautiful daughter was just four months old, and I was feeling homesick and alone. More than ever, I felt the need to be closer to my roots and part of a community where I could speak my own language and share familiar traditions.

I dreamed of creating a space where my daughter could grow up surrounded by other children who also spoke Italian — especially since I don’t have any Italian family here on the Gold Coast. I realised that her “village” could be made up of other local families, sharing in our culture together.

Within just three days of putting the word out, I connected with 20 other families in similar situations, all living nearby. It was a clear sign that there was a real need for this kind of community. We were 40 after only two weeks. We are now over 200 people between Italians, Italo-Australians who want to reconnect with their roots, families, singles, and simply la dolce vita lovers who are curious to learn more about our culture and traditions.

With a background in the Hospitality, Events and Marketing industries, I’m bringing all my experiences together to create a fun, inclusive, and vibrant community accessible to everyone. My goal is to offer experiences and opportunities to learn Italian language, culture, traditions and lifestyle in a joyful way, while helping people feel connected, supported, and truly part of something special.
